We can help you launch your business – for FREE!
Thinking about starting a business or ready to grow an existing one? The City of Vaughan’s Vaughan Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (VBEC) offers the tools you need – at no cost.
The Business Planning Launchpad Series, delivered by VBEC, is a free, four-part virtual workshop series designed to help entrepreneurs build a strong business plan, realistic budget and clear financial projections. Ideal for startups and small businesses, this step-by-step process equips participants with the skills needed to develop a business plan – an essential element for pursuing grants, loans and investment opportunities.
Through the program, participants also receive access to 30-minute one-on-one consultations with one of the City’s entrepreneur advisors for personalized feedback on their business and financial plans.
Each session covers one of the four training topics below:
- Ideation and Market Research – Validate your business idea, define your vision and mission, and conduct market research to test your assumptions.
- Sales and Marketing – Develop a practical marketing plan, including sales tactics and digital marketing strategies.
- Sales Operations and Risk Management – Learn about operational considerations, legal matters, human resources and risk management for your business.
Financial Planning and Bringing It All Together – Understand financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management and completing the Starter Company financial templates.
