Vaughan celebrates Canada Day in style!

On July 1, residents and visitors gathered at North Maple Regional Park to celebrate Canada’s 159th birthday and enjoy a full day of free entertainment, activities and fun!

“It was wonderful to see so many people come together at North Maple Regional Park to celebrate Canada Day,” said Mayor Steven Del Duca.

“This annual event is one of the many ways the City of Vaughan fosters a vibrant, active and engaged community. I want to thank the City’s Events team and all the sponsors, performers and volunteers for bringing this special day to life. To all of you who came out to celebrate – thank you for your spirit, your smiles and your pride in being part of this beautiful country. Once again, I hope everyone had a happy Canada Day!”

This year’s Canada Day celebration, with event sponsor Tim Hortons, featured a spectacular lineup of live entertainment, activities, midway rides, free giveaways, food and business vendors, and more.
