Join us for an unforgettable Tamil Heritage Month celebration in Vaughan!
Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council invite you to join them to mark Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal at the City of Vaughan’s fourth annual celebration. The event will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
The event will honour and commemorate the richness of Tamil art, heritage and culture. Festivities will include greetings from Mayor Del Duca, cultural music and performances, and complimentary refreshments.
Canada is proud to be home to one of the largest Tamil populations in the world, and, in January, the City honours the many contributions that Tamil Canadians have made and continue to make to Vaughan.
