Help Us Plant More Trees at McClure Meadows Park!

Join us for a free community event on Oct. 3

Fall is just around the corner, and we’re welcoming the season with another tree planting event! 

You’re invited to join the City of Vaughan, in partnership with Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), for a free community tree planting event on Saturday, Oct. 3 at McClure Meadows Park (8921 Martin Grove Rd.) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

This is a family-friendly event – no tree-planting experience is required! A safety demonstration will be conducted before planting begins. City staff will provide shovels, gloves and light refreshments for volunteers. Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.

This event will be held rain or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress comfortably, bring your own closed-toe footwear and a reusable water bottle.
