NOW OPEN: Algoma Park
Exciting news for the Nashville-Kleinburg community – Algoma Park is now open!
On Sept. 12, Mayor Steven Del Duca, Members of Council and the community gathered to celebrate the official opening of Algoma Park, a new neighbourhood destination that expands outdoor recreation opportunities in the area. The grand opening featured remarks, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free ice cream and family-friendly entertainment.
Located in Ward 1 at 42 Algoma Dr., the park offers residents and visitors a welcoming space to play, stay active and enjoy the outdoors. The new park features:
- a junior and senior playground
- a shade structure
- a full-size basketball court
- open greenspace
- and more
As the newest addition to Vaughan's growing network of parks and open spaces, Algoma Park offers residents of all ages more opportunities to get outside, stay active and connect with their community close to home.
Whether you're shooting hoops, enjoying the playground or relaxing in the greenspace, Algoma Park is ready to welcome residents and visitors alike for years to come.
