Dig into the fun of tree planting!
Attend a community event on Oct. 18 at North Maple Regional Park
You’re invited to help grow Vaughan’s tree canopy! The City of Vaughan and Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF) are teaming up to bring more native trees and shrubs to our community.
Join us for a community tree planting event on Saturday, Oct. 18 at North Maple Regional Park (11085 Keele St.) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is a family-friendly event – no tree-planting experience required! Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.
This event will be held rain, wind or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress appropriately. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own closed-toe footwear, garden gloves and a reusable water bottle.
