Gazebo bookings available online
There’s no better way to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine than with a picnic at your local park! Gather your family, friends and favourite picnic foods, and book a gazebo through the City of Vaughan!
You can make an amenity reservation online at vaughan.ca/FacilityRentals, by calling the City at 905-832-2281 or emailing rec@vaughan.ca.
There are five City-operated parks with gazebos available to reserve:
Note: Gazebos at Doctors McLean Park (8100 Islington Ave.) are under construction until further notice.
Bookings from now until Sunday, Nov. 1 can be made up to 48 hours in advance of the desired booking date for a three- to nine-hour time slot. The fee is $53.30 per hour for Vaughan residents and $63.96 per hour for non-residents (excluding tax) for the gazebo reservation, with an additional required insurance fee of $43.62. All bookings require a $300 security deposit, which will be refunded in full after your event.
To book online, follow these easy steps:
Log into vaughan.perfectmind.com
Select the ‘Facility Information’ tab, then ‘Online Facility Booking’
Select ‘Picnic Area’
Pick your desired park and select ‘Choose’
Select the duration of your reservation (three to nine hours) and input the number of attendees
Use the calendar to select your preferred date and time
Select ‘Reserve’
Review and agree to the contract terms, enter payment information and place your order
A contract and receipt will be emailed to you
All park bookings include exclusive use of a gazebo shelter and select picnic tables. All other park amenities, such as parking, playgrounds, water play areas, tennis and bocce courts, secondary shade structures and washrooms are open for public use. Alcohol and charcoal or solid-fueled portable barbecues are not permitted in City parks.
