Virtual public meetings continue in June
Planning is well underway for the City of Vaughan’s first-ever virtual Canada Day celebration. As part of the festivities, the City is asking interested residents and businesses to submit a three- to-seven second video message wishing the community a “happy Canada Day.”
The City’s online gallery now includes art symbolizing Jewish heritage
The City continues to enhance its online offerings in response to COVID-19, including growing its digital corporate art gallery. Browse through the latest themed art instalment – SYMBOLIC EXPRESSIONISM | Reflections on Jewish Heritage – recently added to Vaughan’s Flickr collection.
The City of Vaughan’s Recreation Services department is launching the Virtual Summer Adventures series this summer to keep kids active, engaged and entertained. City instructors will livestream popular summer camp activities and recreational programs remotely via Zoom. Pre-registration is required to participate. The classes will run from Monday, July 6 to Friday, Sept. 4, 2020.
