For 28 years, Winterfest has been a tradition for families in the City of Vaughan. It’s a day to celebrate all of the great things that winter brings, and enjoy free activities and entertainment.   

The City of Vaughan is one of the safest communities in the country, and has a fire service that is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of its citizens. At a graduation ceremony today, Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service took time to recognize its members as they celebrated 16 new firefighters, 11 promotions, two new fire inspectors and one new communications operator.
