During tonight’s Special Council Meeting, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council unanimously endorsed the 2019 Budget and 2020-2022 Financial Plan, which reflect the City’s commitment to fiscal transparency and accountability.

As part of Vaughan’s steadfast commitment to help aspiring entrepreneurs and established businesses innovate, compete and create well-paying jobs, the City’s Economic and Cultural Development (ECD) department and ventureLAB will host a free orientation session on support services for tech companies in Vaughan on Friday, Feb. 22.

Vaughan ranks high in Citizen survey results

City scores 97 per cent rating in 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey

The results are in from the 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey and 97 per cent of residents agree – the quality of life is good in the city of Vaughan. The majority of citizens cite a strong sense of community and belonging, with 92 per cent saying they are proud to be from Vaughan and 91 per cent saying it is a welcoming city.
