In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Vaughan is reminding local businesses and entrepreneurs about measures and programs to support them during this challenging time. The Open for Business online directory, which lists local businesses that are open during the current state of emergency, is accessible and growing to promote services and offerings available at this time.

Enhancements, repairs and new developments happening throughout the community
Although park amenities have been closed in recent months to help stop the spread of COVID-19, work has continued to expand and make improvements to parks and open spaces throughout the City. Residents will be able to enjoy many upgrades and enhancements to playgrounds, sports fields and more once it is safe for parks to fully reopen to the public.

Since City of Vaughan fitness centres and pools closed to the public in March to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the Recreation Services team has been busy launching a variety of online programs to keep people of all ages healthy and active from the safety of home.
