Turning ‘Drives’ into Impact
Community comes together at Mayor Steven Del Duca’s Golf Classic to support the Spirit of Generosity
On Sept. 22, Mayor Steven Del Duca’s 2026 Annual Golf Classic brought more than 160 golfers to Copper Creek Golf Club, uniting community leaders, businesses and residents in support of causes that change lives.
All net proceeds raised during the sold-out tournament will be directed to the Spirit of Generosity, which continues its meaningful support of more than 250 non-profit and community organizations, including children and youth groups, healthcare initiatives, seniors’ organizations and special needs programs. Since 2011, the Spirit of Generosity has raised millions of dollars to enhance the lives of many in our community and throughout Ontario.
City Park Homes was this year’s event sponsor. The annual tournament featured a single shotgun format, along with on-course contests including closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive competitions, food and beverages on the course, a silent auction and a putting contest.
