Vaughan’s Advance Vote is open until Oct. 18
Interested in voting online in Vaughan’s 2026 Municipal Election? There’s still time! Registration is required to vote online during the Advance Vote period, which closes on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 11:59 p.m.
Before registering for online voting, voters must already be on the Voters’ List. To check your status or get on the Voters’ List, visit voterregistration.vaughan.ca.

Three ways to vote online
Once registered, eligible voters can cast their ballot online:
- using a mobile device, tablet or computer.
- at an internet voting kiosk at a Vaughan Public Libraries location during regular business hours.
- with assistance at a Voter Assistance Centre.

During the online voting period, Elections Vaughan staff will be available to assist residents who:
- need access to a device.
- require help using the online voting platform.
- need to be added to the Voters' List.
- need to register for online voting.
Visit any of the following locations for support:
- Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.)
- Oct. 13 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Al Palladini Community Centre (9201 Islington Ave.)
- Oct. 13 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.)
- Oct. 13 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- North Thornhill Community Centre (300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.)
- Oct. 13 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Promenade Mall (1 Promenade Cir.)
- Oct. 13 to 16 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Voting Day
Voting Day is Monday, Oct. 26. Voters will cast their ballot in person at their assigned voting location. All eligible Vaughan voters will receive a separate notice with information about their assigned location.
