Santa Claus is coming to town!
Join the Santafest Parade with a float, as a sponsor or a volunteer
Old Saint Nick is returning to Vaughan!
The City of Vaughan is bringing back the Santafest Parade this winter for the first time since 2019, and you’re invited to join the fun on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Schools, community groups, sports teams and businesses interested in participating in this year’s parade with floats, marching bands, walking groups or mascots have until Monday, Nov. 3 at noon to register.
You can also support this magical celebration as a sponsor or volunteer along the route. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, email santafest@vaughan.ca. Those interested in volunteering must complete the application form.
The parade will take place on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m., starting at the intersection of Springside Road and Melville Avenue, travelling north on Melville Avenue, then east on Major Mackenzie Drive, ending at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
The return of this festive tradition comes following Council support of a Member’s Resolution brought forward by Mayor Steven Del Duca in November 2024 requesting City staff oversee the planning, organization and execution of annual Santafest Parades beginning in 2025.
