Vaughan Flavours summer edition offers something for everyone’s palate – plan ahead so you don’t miss out!
Vaughan Flavours is a City of Vaughan initiative created to further support local businesses in response to sweeping U.S. tariffs. It comes from Mayor Steven Del Duca and Ward 2 Councillor Adriano Volpentesta’s Members’ Resolution (PDF) to develop a pilot program encouraging residents and visitors to dine out in Vaughan. On April 23, 2025 Vaughan Council approved a staff report (PDF) to proceed with the Vaughan Flavours pilot. On June 23, 2026, Vaughan Council approved a staff report (PDF) to deliver an annual summer and winter edition of the program.

The City of Vaughan’s 2026 summer edition of Vaughan Flavours is taking place from Friday, July 24 to Friday, Aug. 7.
Twenty participating restaurants will offer dine-in experiences, featuring a three-course prix fixe menu.

- Vaughan became the first municipality in Ontario to ratify a policy that bans U.S. suppliers in early March 2025. In April 2025, the City began offering businesses free ‘Vaughan Strong. Support Canadian’ welcome packages filled with materials to help identify local and Canadian-made goods in stores, removing the guessing game for shoppers at the checkout counter.
