Thornhill Outdoor Pool reopening on Sunday
Splashpads and indoor pools are open, too!
The Thornhill Outdoor Pool will reopen tomorrow – Sunday, July 19 – following its recent closure due to air quality concerns.
It’s just one of many places you can cool down in Vaughan! Our community centres offer a variety of amenities and activities, including:
- indoor swimming pools with drop-in rec swims, aquafitness and parent and tot offerings
- fitness centres and walking tracks with drop-in classes and squash courts
- drop-in sports
- bowling lanes
- indoor bocce courts
For locations, schedules and facility information, visit vaughan.ca/recreation.
Some amenities and programs require advance registration. PerfectMind, the City of Vaughan’s online registration system, is available 24-7 and features enhanced search filters, allowing you to sort by level, location, day and time. If you require assistance creating an online PerfectMind registration account, call Service Vaughan at 905-832-2281 or email rec@vaughan.ca.
Looking for outdoor fun? Our splashpads are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Please note, splashpad openings are subject to weather and surface conditions.
