March Break is right around the corner! Check out the Winter Recreation eGuide located at vaughan.ca/camps to view all the exciting camps the City of Vaughan has to offer and register online while spots remain.

 

March Break Camps run at select community centres and the Vaughan Studios & Event Space from Monday, March 16, to Friday, March 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with flexible drop-off and pickup times, available from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at select locations. Choose from a wide variety of camps – creative and culinary arts, sports, animation, aquatics and more!

March Madness: Junior (ages four to six years old) 

Campers will enjoy arts and crafts, sports, games, dancing, themed activities and outdoor play (weather permitting). This camp is available at: 

 

Hockey Stars: Junior (ages four to six years old)

Take your hockey skills to the next level! Campers will sharpen their skating techniques, improve puck control, and build speed and agility in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will be grouped according to age and skill level. This camp is available at: 

 

Aquasquirts (ages four to six years old)

Make a splash in this camp designed for little swimmers! Children build confidence in the water while learning basic swimming skills through games, songs and water safety activities. After swim time, campers enjoy arts and crafts, games and sports. This camp is available at: 

 

Bust a Move (ages four to seven years old)

Dancers learn ballet, jazz and hip-hop routines to perform in a special end-of-week recital on Friday for family and friends. Arts and crafts, sing-alongs and games add to the fun. This camp is available at: 

 

Hands-on Robotics: LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime (ages six to eight years old)

Learn how to build and program your robot using the newest LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime system with LEGO bricks, motors and sensors. Think critically and ‘click together’ in a team environment all while building your knowledge of STEAM. This camp is available at: 

 

Learn to Love Skate: Beginner (ages six to 12 years old)

Campers learn the basics, including balance, control and gliding, during one hour of daily instruction. Recreational skating time follows, filled with exciting activities and games. This camp is available at: 

 

Junior Lifeguard Camp (ages seven to 12 years old)

Campers train like real lifeguards, practicing swim strokes, rescue skills and basic first aid through fun challenges and friendly competition. Track your progress in your Junior Lifeguard journal and work toward completing Swim Patrol levels. This camp is available at: 

 

Full STEAM Ahead! (ages seven to 12 years old)

Get the best of both worlds with a half day of art and a half day of STEM! Create paintings, mosaics and sculptures, then tackle hands-on challenges like egg drops and marble runs while building innovative designs. This camp is available at:

 

Thrive from Within: Nutrition, Confidence and Well-Being for Youth (ages 10 to 14 years old) ‑Being for Youth

In partnership with Inner Health Nutrition Consulting, this empowering camp helps youth build confidence and develop a healthy relationship with food and self. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities and mindfulness practices, participants explore self-care, balanced nutrition and positive body image in a supportive, non-dieting environment. This camp is available at: 

 

TeenFIT (ages 13 to 15 years old)

Build strength, confidence and healthy habits in this high-energy fitness camp! Teens learn proper workout techniques, how to use cardio and weight equipment, and receive nutrition tips from Vaughan Fitness staff. Group exercises and regular swims keep everyone motivated and moving. This camp is available at: 

 

Passover Break Camps

Spend your Passover school break with us, enjoying five fun-filled days of camp activities! Create arts & crafts, play sports and games, sing songs and dance, explore the outdoors (weather permitting) and have a blast during a special theme day. The camp day is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Camp programming runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before & After Care is not available for Passover Break camps.
