The City of Vaughan’s highly anticipated Festa d’Italia, presented by Liuna Local 183, is back on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7! Over the coming weeks we’re revealing more of the exciting entertainment lined up for this year’s event.
Introducing … Joe Avati!
Joe Avati is an Italian-Australian comedian, known for his clean, observational comedy that draws heavily from his experiences growing up in an Italian family. Often referred to as “the Italian Seinfeld,” he performs in English and Calabrese dialect, resonating strongly with audiences of Italian heritage. He gained early popularity through his comedy albums, including “Livin’ la Dole-Cheque Vita” and “Live and Unpluggato,” and became one of the top-selling bilingual comedians in the world. Avati is also known for producing the hit stage show “Il Dago” and continues to tour internationally.
Join us in honouring and commemorating the richness of Italian culture and heritage at this year’s event, taking place over two days – Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 – at Boyd Conservation Park (8739 Islington Ave.). The FREE fun-filled weekend will feature spectacular music, entertainment, food and so much more.
