Voting Day is Less Than a Week Away!

Cast your ballot at your assigned voting location on Monday, Oct. 26

The City of Vaughan’s online Advance Voting period has ended, with 16,512 ballots cast between Oct. 9 and 18, representing a voter turnout of 6.26 per cent. The next – and final – opportunity to vote in the 2026 Municipal Election is in person at your assigned voting location on Monday, Oct. 26.

Polls will be open that day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters who registered to vote online can still vote in person on Voting Day, provided they have not already cast their ballot online.

If you are unable to vote on Voting Day, you may appoint another qualified voter as a proxy to vote on your behalf. Visit Vaughan’s voter information page to learn more about how to appoint a voting proxy.

Do you have your voter information card?

You should have received a voter information card in the mail with details about your assigned voting location. If you did not receive a voter information card, you may find your voting location online.

Voting locations will be available at City of Vaughan facilities and schools, retirement residences and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital (for patients only).

Unofficial results for the 2026 Municipal Election will be announced and published online starting at 8 p.m. on Voting Day, Monday, Oct. 26.
