The City of Vaughan is undertaking a study to explore options for extending Colossus Drive over Highway 400, connecting to Interchange Way, to reduce traffic congestion and keep you moving.

This proposed new crossing would provide a vital link between the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and the Weston Road and Highway 7 areas, improving connectivity and helping to alleviate gridlock on key routes. The project is one of the critical transportation initiatives in the Vaughan Council-approved Nine-Point Action Plan to Fight Traffic Gridlock, which came forward as a Member’s Resolution by Mayor Steven Del Duca.

Through this study, the City will evaluate a range of potential routes, carefully considering impacts on traffic flow, the environment, surrounding communities and overall mobility.
