Cool off at the Thornhill Outdoor Pool!

Come beat the heat at the Thornhill Outdoor Pool – it’s the place to be this summer!

Located at 28 Centre St., the fully accessible facility offers a 30-metre, five-lane swimming pool and an accessible shallow-water wading pool with beach entry, along with a family change room, shaded seating areas and benches. Free parking is available at 7822 Old Yonge St.

The outdoor pool is open daily – with longer hours this year – from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 7. Daily programming includes length swim, aquafitness, parent and tot swims and recreational swims throughout the day and evening. 

New this season: 

• an additional weekday length swim (Monday to Friday, 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) 
• an additional weekend aquafitness class (Saturday and Sunday, 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.)
• an additional recreational swim (Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).

Holiday schedule

The facility operates on modified holiday hours, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 1 (Canada Day), Monday, Aug. 3 (Civic Holiday) and Monday, Sept. 7 (Labour Day).

Registration and swim schedules

To view schedules and register for programs, visit vaughan.ca/OutdoorPool. Registration opens seven days in advance for Vaughan residents and four days in advance for non-residents. The online registration system is available 24-7 and features enhanced search filters, allowing you to sort by activity, day and time. Thornhill Outdoor Pool is cashless. Debit and credit are the only acceptable forms of payment.
