blanketed with snow, and City crews are working around the clock to clear roads
and sidewalks. Here are tips on how you can help our winter operations run as
smoothly and safely as possible:
As students return to classes this week, there will be more pedestrians on sidewalks throughout the city. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the City of Vaughan is reminding everyone to stay vigilant, practise physical distancing from others and wear a mask when that is not possible.
Cold winter weather doesn’t mean the outdoor fun has to end! The City of Vaughan invites you to venture outside, be active and enjoy Vaughan’s many rinks, trails and winter activities this season.

Now that winter is in full swing, road safety matters more than ever. Snow and ice can make driving difficult, so the City of Vaughan is urging commuters and pedestrians to follow the rules of the road, obey speed limits and drive safely according to the conditions.
