Paying property taxes has never been easier or more convenient. As the first instalment deadline approaches, the City of Vaughan is reminding you of the many ways to pay final property tax bills without having to wait in line or step foot in Vaughan City Hall. 

Water leaks from toilets, washing machines, dishwashers and more can be nearly invisible and hard to spot. They can also cause a high water bill and damage to your home. That’s why the City of Vaughan is providing tips you can use to help catch leaks early on or possibly before they even happen.

The City of Vaughan is developing a new Integrated Urban Water Plan to address the community’s water, wastewater and stormwater needs for current and future generations – and we need your input. 

The City of Vaughan is recruiting individuals who have a passion for road safety and want to make a difference in the community. If this sounds like you or someone you know, apply to become a school crossing guard for the 2022/23 school year! This is an important job that helps children and families safely travel to and from school each day.

Do you know someone dedicated to bettering the community? Or a person who advocates for bringing positive change? Nominate them for consideration to the Order of Vaughan – the highest honour the City of Vaughan may bestow on an individual who exemplifies extraordinary citizenship. Nominations are open until Friday, Aug. 26 at 4:30 p.m.
