The City of Vaughan is planning the future of the Weston Road and Highway 7 – also known as the Weston 7 – area. As one of Vaughan’s key development zones, various studies and plans are being done concurrently to help guide the growth of the area. This includes the Weston 7 Secondary Plan.
Weekly leaf and yard waste collection starts soon!
Got lots of leaves? We’ve got the solution! The City of Vaughan’s leaf and yard waste collection is moving to a weekly pickup schedule starting the week of Oct. 15. That means staff will collect your yard waste materials every week on your regularly scheduled collection day.

Double-Up Days are back!
Place up to six garbage items curbside
Check your calendar – the City of Vaughan’s Double-Up Days program is back this week or next week, depending on your scheduled collection day. Instead of the regular three-item limit, you can place up to six garbage items curbside, and no paid tags are required.
