What’s open and closed in Vaughan on Labour Day
As you prepare to enjoy the last long weekend of summer, the City of Vaughan is reminding everyone of facility closures, modified hours and alternate programming on Monday, Sept. 2. Here is all you need to know to plan ahead so you can spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones this Labour Day weekend.
Municipal facilities
B020/18
Consent is being requested for an easement over Part 1 on Plan 65R-22497 for an access purposes (vehicular) in favour of the lands to the south municipally known as 9560 Islington Avenue (dominant land).
A209/18
Relief from the by-law is being requested to permit the continued construction of a gazebo located in the rear and southerly side yard.
A199/18
Relief from the by-law is being requested to permit the proposed cabana located in the rear yard and northerly side yard.
A198/18
Relief from the by-law is being requested to permit the expansion of an existing Daycare into Unit 20A.
Note: The Daycare currently exists in Units 16, 17 & 18.

Relief from the By-Law is being requested to permit the construction of a proposed in-ground pool and pool equipment pad (located in the rear and exterior side yard). Relief is also being sought to permit the existing
cabana (located in the rear yard).
