Mayor Bevilacqua highlights Vaughan’s award-winning innovation

New approach to service contracts earns city highest honour from the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO)

This statement by Vaughan Mayor, Maurizio Bevilacqua, was issued during a Committee meeting on Sept. 17, 2018. Mayor Bevilacqua highlighted the recent honour earned by the City’s Public Works team, the 2018 Peter J. Marshall Innovation Award.

“The City of Vaughan was recently presented with the 2018 Peter J. Marshall Innovation Award, the highest honour bestowed on a municipality for developing an innovative process to serve the public.
