City Offices Closed for Benjamin Vaughan Day
July 29, 2014
City of Vaughan municipal offices, including Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre, will be closed for Benjamin Vaughan Day on Monday, Aug. 4. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
In December 2013, Vaughan Council passed a resolution that the statutory holiday in August known as the civic holiday be renamed Benjamin Vaughan Day.
Free Wi-Fi Rolls Out at Vaughan Community Centres

Starting this week, free Wi-Fi is available at the Maple and Dufferin Clark community centres.
Residents and visitors to these community centres will now be able to access the Internet via laptop computers and other Wi-Fi-capable devices during hours of operation.
