Mayor Bevilacqua announces fall recreation programs will be virtual

Online registration will begin Monday, Sept. 28 at 8:30 a.m.
 
The City of Vaughan is launching an expanded virtual program series this fall to keep kids active, engaged, educated and entertained from the safety of home. City instructors will livestream popular recreational programs for preschoolers, children and youth remotely via Zoom.
 
The decision to focus on virtual programming comes in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Place up to six garbage items out without tags during the weeks of Sept. 22 or Sept. 29
 
Double-Up Days are here! Scheduled for the weeks of Sept. 22 or Sept. 29, on regular garbage days, residents can place up to six items of garbage for collection without paid tags. Large or bulky items, such as furniture, can also be placed outside for pickup. Each bulky item counts as one item towards the limit. Bags should be set out by 7 a.m. on collection day.

Mayor Bevilacqua: Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital reaches substantial completion

“Today, we mark another important milestone in our healthcare journey; the construction of Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital is now substantially complete.
