Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service’s guide to a safe home office during COVID-19
Throughout the global COVID-19 pandemic, people have shifted the way and where they do their jobs with many working from home and practising physical distancing. As we continue to adjust to this “new normal,” it is important to ensure fire prevention and general safety precautions remain top of mind.
Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua issued the following statement after chairing the City’s first Smart City Task Force meeting of 2020:

remains an important part of the planning and city-building process. While Vaughan
City Hall remains closed in response to COVID-19, there are many ways citizens
can participate in the electronic-participation Committee of the Whole and
Council meetings scheduled for the month of July:

the forecast, and the City of Vaughan is reminding residents to take
precautions to stay cool. This could include bringing the kids to one of the
recently reopened splashpads across the community!
