“I’m proud to celebrate a major milestone for our city — the opening of Vaughan’s first-ever cricket pitch, right here at North Maple Regional Park. This isn’t just a field — it’s a symbol of our city’s diversity, growth and commitment to creating inclusive, world-class spaces. North Maple is unlike any other park in Vaughan — a 364-hectare vision rooted in nature, culture, and community. Adding a cricket pitch to this extraordinary destination brings new opportunities for residents to connect through sport and recreation. I would like to thank the Infrastructure Development team, who are working hard to move this important project forward and help foster a high quality of life for residents and visitors. Let’s hit the pitch!”
