Is your home a heritage property? If so, the City of Vaughan has launched a new pilot program you may be interested in – running until December 2026 – to help heritage property owners maintain and restore the features that make their buildings part of Vaughan’s story.

Under By-law 011-2025, eligible residents may qualify for cost-sharing support to help preserve and restore the unique architectural and cultural features that make their property part of Vaughan’s rich history. Residents who own a heritage property designated under Part IV or V of the Ontario Heritage Act may be eligible.

The program aims to ensure that grant assistance is awarded to projects that best uphold the visibility, integrity and recognized conservation standards of Vaughan’s designated heritage properties.

More information about the program is available at vaughan.ca/HeritageBuildings.
