Come out and enjoy the upgraded park!

Great news! Exciting upgrades at Max Eisen Memorial Park (formerly York Hill District Park) are nearly complete, and it’s officially open for you to enjoy!

On July 8, Mayor Steven Del Duca, Members of Council and community members came together to celebrate the reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks and light refreshments.

The reopening is happening in phases, so there’s plenty to explore this summer. In this first phase, you can look forward to:

  • four tennis courts
  • four pickleball courts
  • a new picnic pavilion
  • refreshed park space with lots of seating

Work will continue at the park, located at 330 York Hill Blvd., throughout the summer, including site cleanup, paving, installation of sound barriers around the pickleball courts, pathway repairs and planting. Some areas will be temporarily closed while this work wraps up. All construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
