Happening tomorrow: Vaughan’s nativity scene blessing
Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council welcome you to the official recognition of the Nativity Scene Display tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
This event will include official remarks, music, refreshments and more.
If you are unable to attend the event, you are welcome to visit Vaughan City Hall to view the nativity scene, which will be on display until the Epiphany on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. Please note, City of Vaughan municipal offices will be observing a Festive Closure from noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24, until Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
This initiative follows Council support of a Members’ Resolution brought forward by Mayor Del Duca and Ward 2 Councillor Adriano Volpentesta in November 2025, requesting City staff obtain and install a nativity scene at City Hall for this Christmas season and in all future Christmas seasons.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Confirm your attendance for the event online.
