VMC Transportation Master Plan (2025)

The City of Vaughan has completed a VMC Transportation Master Plan to help guide and manage transportation in the city’s new downtown core.

The VMC Transportation Master Plan (TMP) confirms transportation needs, supportive policies and a phasing strategy to 2051 with a focus on street connectivity, accessibility and support for multi-modal mobility, including walking, biking, public transit and ridesharing.

The VMC Transportation Master Plan follows the planning process and satisfies Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) process, including an assessment of existing and future conditions, confirmation of transportation needs, and an evaluation of multi-modal transportation network options, all in consultation with regulatory agencies and the public.
