Millway Avenue EA
The City of Vaughan has completed the Schedule ‘C’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study for the extension of Millway Avenue from Highway 7 to Interchange Way.
The proposed extension of Millway Avenue is the last significant missing road segment in the completion of the major collector road network within the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC). The need for the extension of Millway Avenue was already established in the original VMC Transportation Master Plan (TMP) in 2012.
This Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) process followed the planning and design process for Schedule ‘C’ projects as described in the MCEA Document (October 2000 as amended in 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2023), which is an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
City of Vaughan has prepared an Environmental Study Report (ESR) for the extension of Millway Avenue documenting the planning, consultation efforts, decision-making process and the recommended plan. An electronic copy of the ESR can be downloaded at the following link:
