The City of Vaughan supports the need for a modern, affordable and accessible ground transportation network – from pedestrians and bicycles to automobiles and transit.
This also includes taxis, limousines and ride-sharing providers, which must be licensed to operate legally within our borders.
Licensed taxis, limousines and ride-sharing providers are regulated to ensure they are clean, safe and well maintained. Both the driver and the vehicle must meet a list of eligibility criteria to certify they are operating in the interest of public health and safety, and to protect you – the passenger.
