Vaccination Requirements for City Facilities
On Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, Ontario lifted capacity limits in the vast majority of settings where proof of vaccination is required, such as restaurants, bars and other food or drink establishments; indoor areas of sports and recreational facilities such as gyms and where personal physical fitness trainers provide instruction; casinos, bingo halls and other gaming establishments; and indoor meeting and event spaces. Limits have also been lifted in certain outdoor settings.

Teston Road Environmental Assessment Project Updates
Study Process
The Teston Road Environmental Assessment (EA) study will assess alternative improvements with consideration of impacts to transportation service and the natural, socio-economic and cultural environments. The study will be completed in accordance with the planning and design process for Schedule ‘B’ projects, as outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class EA guidelines (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011 and 2015).
Vaughan Complete Streets Guidelines Project Updates
The Vaughan Complete Streets Design Guidelines take place in the following phases:

- Developed a work plan
- Created a report template
- Reviewed existing conditions
- Performed a background review
- Performed a review of policies, requirements and criteria for the guidelines

Insurance and Risk Management
The Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) division within the Office of the City Clerk plays a key role in overseeing claim administration, risk financing, and risk control. While the division is broadly responsible for identifying and mitigating risks across municipal operations, its most public-facing function involves managing claims submitted by individuals who believe they’ve experienced damage or injury related to City infrastructure or services.
