Vaughan declares a Significant Weather Event
The City of Vaughan has declared a Significant Weather Event based
on a freezing
rain warning issued by Environment Canada. A period of
freezing rain is anticipated to begin this evening and end early Friday morning.

Utilities
The City of Vaughan’s right of way contains multiple utilities within municipal roadways. The city’s right of way is located within the area between the middle of the roadway and the residential water valve. This area will have several utilities, including gas, hydro, water and telecommunication cables. The City’s Utility department co-ordinates the installation of new utilities and addresses any concerns regarding telecommunication exposed cables, pedestals, cabinets and ground-level boxes.
