Do you live, work, play or regularly commute through the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC)? Have ideas on how the City of Vaughan can enhance transportation in the downtown core? Now is the time to share your thoughts!
Students were provided an opportunity to help by filling out a workbook that gave the City input on how to design the new park.

Since the project began, collecting feedback from the public has been an important component of the ongoing design process. Engaging with the community to determine their needs and desires for the new park has helped shape the District Park Project in Block 18 to date.

The Block 18 District Park - Park Visioning Public Open House that took place in Dec. 2019 included an opportunity for children attending the session to provide input into the process and were invited to produce their own vision and dream for this new park. Here are sample ideas shared with City staff.
