Emergency response training exercise on April 25

Vaughan Fire to participate in police-led simulation in the area of Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive


Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS) is dedicated to providing efficient emergency response and fire protection, prevention, safety and education to those who live, work and visit the city. As part of their ongoing training, VFRS will participate in a planned, co-ordinated, police-led exercise in the area of Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive on Tuesday, April 25 starting at 8 a.m.

Weston 7 Transportation Master Plan Project Updates

Study Process

The Transportation Master Plan, commenced in November 2020, will develop a long-range transportation plan. The TMP is following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment ( 2023) process. Once complete TMP will recommend a transportation network and outline an implementation strategy for future projects that will address connectivity, growth, accessibility and mobility for all modes of transportation in the Weston 7 Secondary Plan area.
