Recreation, swim programs and aquatic leadership courses start on July 2

Making summer plans? Get a head start and map out a season of fun with the City of Vaughan! The Summer Recreation eGuide is now available online with a variety of programs for residents of all ages and abilities. 

You’re invited to join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council for the City of Vaughan’s South Asian Heritage Month celebration tomorrow, Monday, May 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

This celebration will honour and commemorate the richness of South Asian art, heritage and culture. Festivities will include greetings from Mayor Del Duca, traditional musical and dance performances, and complimentary refreshments.

Consent is being requested to sever a parcel of land for residential purposes approximately 1,865.40 square metres. The retained parcel is approximately 1,865.19 square metres. The existing dwelling on the retained lands is to be demolished.

Relief from the Zoning By-law is being requested to permit the construction of a retaining wall. Relief is also required to facilitate related Site Plan Application DA.22.064.
