Celebrate the opening of the Carrville Skate Trail on Feb. 14!
Sharpen your skates – there’s another place to skate in Vaughan! The Carrville Skate Trail is now open for you to enjoy.
You’re invited to join us at the outdoor skate trail, located at 655 Thomas Cook Ave., for official grand opening celebrations on Friday, Feb. 14! Beginning at 11:30 a.m., the event will include remarks from Mayor Steven Del Duca, a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Members of Council, free hot chocolate and public skating.
Preliminary Design Study of the Grand Trunk Avenue Missing Link
The City of Vaughan is undertaking a Preliminary Design study for Grand Trunk Avenue to connect the road between Ahchie Court and District Avenue.
The study will also help the City improve access to active transportation facilities, such as cycle tracks, and evaluate a range of multi-modal transportation alternatives to support future travel demand in the area along Grand Trunk Avenue, from Major Mackenzie Drive to Rutherford Road.
