Through the City of Vaughan’s Better Your Business program, five local organizations have committed to making their processes, practices and policies more socially and environmentally sustainable.
Get ready to be ‘enchanted’ by a summer filled with live music and fun! The City of Vaughan’s 30th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park series is back, kicking off with Taylor’s Story – Tribute to Taylor Swift on Wednesday, June 12 in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. At the concert, there will be 1,000 free friendship bracelets handed out (one per person), while quantities last!
The City of Vaughan’s popular Curb Appeal program is back! Every spring, the City celebrates the gardening efforts of residents and businesses that help beautify our community. Does someone in your neighbourhood go above and beyond to make their lawn look flawless? Or maybe there’s a local business nearby that has a beautiful and welcoming entrance? If so, nominate them – it’s easy!
The City of Vaughan’s Public Works professionals keep our community clean, safe and beautiful 365 days a year through a variety of programs and services. To recognize this team of 425 dedicated staff, the City is celebrating National Public Works Week until Saturday, May 25 – and you’re invited to join in!

Practising your batting swing this season? Hit the cages in Vaughan! The City of Vaughan recently made improvements to the batting cages at Vaughan Grove Sports Park (7401 Martin Grove Rd.), thanks in large part to a $50,000 sponsorship by Saputo Inc.
