The City of Vaughan lights the menorah in celebration of Chanukah!
Members of the community joined Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council on Dec. 30 to celebrate Chanukah at the City of Vaughan’s annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony.
The event featured official remarks, a DJ, activities, a balloon artist, traditional Chanukah refreshments and more! Rabbi Mendel Kaplan, founder and spiritual leader of Chabad Flamingo, presided over the ceremony.
Vaughan unveils new Gateway Sign and Menorah at City Hall
There’s a new sign in Vaughan!
Members of the community joined Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council on Dec. 17 to unveil the new permanent Vaughan Gateway Sign outside Vaughan City Hall, which is accompanied by a menorah for the duration of Chanukah.
