Local Employers Invited to Connect with Neurodivergent Talent
Secure an employer booth at the Meet On The Spectrum Job Fair
The City of Vaughan, in partnership with Meet On The Spectrum and Vaughan Public Libraries, is inviting local employers to participate in the upcoming Meet On The Spectrum Job Fair, an event focused on connecting neurodivergent job seekers with employment opportunities in Vaughan.
The job fair will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Civic Centre Resource Library (2191 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
Originally launched as a grassroots initiative, Meet On The Spectrum has grown into a community-led program that supports inclusive hiring practices and helps create meaningful employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals.
Employers are encouraged to attend to:
promote current job opportunities.
connect with skilled and motivated candidates.
support local hiring initiatives.
build a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
The event supports the City's commitment to fostering an inclusive economy and advancing employment opportunities for all residents. It also builds on Vaughan Council's support for inclusive employment initiatives through a Member's Resolution (PDF) endorsing Meet On The Spectrum.
Organizations interested in participating as employers can contact Meet On The Spectrum for additional information and registration details at meetonthespectrum.com.
