37 entrepreneurs complete the 2025 Starter Company Plus program
The City of Vaughan congratulates the 37 local entrepreneurs who successfully completed the 2025 Starter Company Plus program. Participants were formally recognized by Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council at the Feb. 10 Committee of the Whole (2) meeting.
Through this program, participants received tailored training to help develop a business plan, marketing strategy, budget and financial forecast. They also benefited from one-on-one consultations with City business advisors and had the opportunity to apply for up to $5,000 in provincial grant funding to help bring their business plans to life.
Small businesses are the backbone of Vaughan’s business community, and these entrepreneurs have demonstrated remarkable dedication, innovation and resilience in developing and growing their businesses.
