Bring Your Restaurant to the Table With Vaughan Flavours!
Applications are now open for the winter 2027 edition
Calling all restauranteurs – are you searching for a new way to attract diners and showcase your culinary creativity? Applications are NOW OPEN for local eateries to participate in the winter 2027 edition of Vaughan Flavours – the City of Vaughan’s popular food festival – returning Wednesday, Jan. 20 to Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2027. Interested restaurant owners can apply until Friday, Nov. 13, 2026.
Vaughan restaurants offering dine-in service are invited to review the program criteria and apply at visitvaughan.ca/VaughanFlavours.
Participation in Vaughan Flavours is free. Restaurants are required to provide a fully refundable $500 deposit, which will be returned upon successful completion of the program. Designed to support local restaurants and showcase Vaughan's diverse culinary scene, Vaughan Flavours features three-course prix fixe (fixed-price) menus at participating dine-in restaurants across the city. The two-week festival encourages residents and visitors to discover new dining experiences while supporting local businesses.
Vaughan Flavours is a City of Vaughan initiative created in 2025 to support local businesses in response to U.S. tariffs. The program originated from a Members' Resolution by Mayor Steven Del Duca and Ward 2 Councillor Adriano Volpentesta directing staff to develop a pilot restaurant festival. Following Council approval, Vaughan Flavours now returns annually with summer and winter editions.
A list of participating restaurants will be announced closer to the festival. Stay tuned!
