Attend the Youth Career Clinic on Nov. 24

Get your resume ready! The City of Vaughan is hosting a series of Career Clinics to help youth build skills, explore employment opportunities and prepare for careers with the municipality. If you’ve been thinking about getting a job with the City but don’t know where to start – this career clinic is for you.

The first Career Clinic is on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Dufferin Clark Community Centre, located at 1441 Clark Ave. W., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your resume!

Hosted for youth aged 14 years and up, participants will learn about upcoming seasonal, volunteer and other employment opportunities with the City, including with Recreation Services, network with staff from various departments, and receive FREE, one-on-one resources including:

  • resume reviews
  • mock interviews and interview preparation
  • job search support, including where and how to apply
  • application guidance
  • entrepreneurship resources and grant information

Additional clinics will be hosted at community centres in each ward until February 2027. Stay tuned for details.
