Trenchless construction methods will significantly reduce open-cut excavation on public property and crews will work remotely during the installation phases.
Underground infrastructure will primarily be installed within grass boulevard areas, reducing potential impacts on sidewalks, cycle lanes and pedestrian access.
In accordance with the City’s Noise By-law, work will take place on weekdays, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting. If necessary, weekend work may be scheduled to expedite the project.
