Block 37 Street Lighting Improvements

The City of Vaughan is upgrading the street lighting infrastructure within the neighbourhood bounded by Pine Valley Drive, Langstaff Road, Weston Road and Highway 7.

Streetlights

Upgrades to the streetlighting infrastructure will improve road safety during non-daylight hours. Improvements will include:

  • replacing the square light poles with round tapered concrete poles.
  • upgrading the underground infrastructure.

  • updating the network light control system.

     

Colm Engineering has been retained to undertake design and pre-construction activities in the area. Construction is anticipated to commence late fall 2026.
