Culture Days

The City of Vaughan was selected as a Festival Hub for ON Culture Days in 2023. This was a unique opportunity to continue celebrating culture with all residents in Vaughan.

2023 Vaughan Culture Days

Over 70 events took place in Vaughan for Culture Days 2023. 

• In 2023, Vaughan ranked 8th nationwide, and 5th among Mid-Size Cities, for the number of events.
• In 2023, two Vaughan events received the Spotlight Recognition Program in the following categories:
  • Best in person event: Dance Together Festival York Region
    Organized by Dance Together Festival at Assembly Park.
  • The Warrant Garrett Inclusive Programming Award: Daniel’s Café
    Organized by Daniel Xia with City of Vaughan. Hosted at Pierre Berton Heritage Centre.
